Friend for an Immigrant Mum
Friend for an Immigrant Mum programme helps immigrant women to know Finland better and settle into the new home country.
You don't need to be a mother to participate the programme.
We bring together immigrant women and volunteer Finnish speaking women who become friends with each other. We aim to match two women with similar interests or life situation. Along with friendship, the volunteer helps the immigrant to learn Finnish and understand the new culture. The immigrant can share her own culture with the volunteer as well!
